Re:verse will post a challenge four times a year, attached to each new issue. We invite writers nineteen years old and younger to read our challenge and to write freely on an aspect of the challenge that inspires and provokes them. We ask that the poems be submitted within six weeks of the challenge being posted. Re:verse likes receiving poems based on the challenge because it shows that the writers have reached beyond what might be comfortable. It shows the writers have thought, and acted on that thought.

Re:verse also accepts outstanding poems not based on the challenge. Outstanding poems show a rigorous pursuit for the extraordinary; an insight beyond typical cliches and predictable images. Outstanding poems will be unlike anything we've ever read before, and that is why we will want to publish them!

Re:verse has no word/line/or length limit. Re:verse asks that the poets include a short biography. Re:verse wants English poems sent to {stephanie at youngpoets dot ca}.
